Gilbert Supports the Jimmy Fund Arbella Radio-Telethon

Gilbert Insurance Agency is proud to be an independent Arbella Insurance agent. Each year, Arbella’s Charitable Foundation matches and doubles the money raised by its agents to maximize fundraising levels for the Jimmy Fund and other worthy causes.

Since its founding in 1948, the Jimmy Fund has supported the fight against cancer in children and adults at Boston’s Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Over the past 13 years, the WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio-Telethon has generated more than $34 million dollars to help raise the chances of survival for cancer patients around the world.

In 2013, Gilbert Insurance Agency, with the help of Arbella, donated a combined total of nearly $1,000 to the Jimmy Fund. This year, we want to contribute even more – and we need your help! Throughout the 36-hour broadcast of the Radio-Telethon, starting at 6am on August 19 through midnight on August 20, every post and “like” on Gilbert Insurance Agency’s Facebook page will be counted towards a $5 donation to the Jimmy Fund.
