Mark Gilbert, a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), serves as Vice President at King Risk Partners, following Gilbert Insurance’s transition to a King Risk agency in 2025. Representing the second generation of Gilberts at the agency originally founded by his father more than 75 years ago, Mark played a central role in shaping the organization’s growth and long-standing presence in the community.
Mark began his career in the insurance industry in the early 1980s, starting at Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, and later continuing on to Chubb Insurance. In these roles, he worked closely with small, midsize, and large businesses, serving as a trusted resource for underwriting and risk management.
After building a strong foundation in commercial lines, Mark joined James D. Gilbert Insurance Agency, where he led the expansion of the agency’s commercial capabilities while also growing the team and overall footprint of the business. His leadership helped evolve the agency from a personal lines-focused operation into a well-rounded firm serving individuals, families, and businesses across Massachusetts.
Throughout his career, Mark has remained focused on helping clients make informed decisions about protecting what matters most. That approach continues today as part of King Risk Partners, where he brings decades of experience, industry insight, and a relationship-driven mindset to every client interaction.
