Commercial Sales Executive
Location: Reading, Medford, or Georgetown, MA

Currently, we are looking for a Commercial Sales Executive to join our team. We offer competitive base plus commissions and benefits, including; medical, dental, life and disability plans. Job Description: The Commercial Sales Executive is responsible for producing new business and managing the growth and retention of an existing book of business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Uses Agency’s resources to generate new business opportunities through cold calling, marketing letters and e-mail campaigns for targeted prospects.
- Handles all aspects of producing new business, including completing applications, quoting, creating proposals, reviewing coverage and issuing policies.
- Be proficient with policy coverage, risk management, underwriting and the insurance marketplace.
- Managing existing book of business by reviewing coverage & account rounding.
- Attends meetings, seminars and programs to learn about new products and services.
- Develops a strong team approach with inside sales reps & account managers.
- Represents Agency positively and professionally.
- Regular attendance is essential to this position.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Competencies:
- Previous property and casualty experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right individual.
- Current MA Individual Insurance license or willingness to obtain.
- Previous Sales Experience
- Highly self-motivated and positive attitude.
- Strong computer skills – (experience using AMS360 preferred).
- Proficient utilizing desktop applications such as MS Office (Excel, Word, Exchange).
- Superior organizational and communication skills, flexibility, detail oriented, and an ability to work independently.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Ability to work well in a team atmosphere.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize.
