David Gilbert, a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), is Vice President at Gilbert Insurance, headquartered in Reading, Massachusetts. Representing the third generation of Gilberts at the agency originally founded by his grandfather more than 75 years ago, David continues to build on a long-standing legacy while helping guide the firm forward as part of King Risk Partners.
David graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in 2014 with a BA in Business, Organizations, and Society. He began his career at an independent insurance agency in Boston, where he worked closely with both personal and business insurance clients before joining Gilbert Insurance in 2016.
Today, David focuses primarily on commercial insurance, partnering with business owners across a range of industries to design thoughtful and comprehensive insurance programs. He is known for simplifying complex coverage conversations and helping clients feel confident when reviewing or transitioning their insurance. By combining responsive service with practical solutions and modern tools, he makes the process efficient while remaining thorough and personalized.
Over the years, David has played an active role in expanding the agency’s commercial presence and strengthening carrier relationships, all while maintaining the relationship-driven approach Gilbert Insurance is known for. As part of King Risk Partners, he continues to bring additional resources and strategic insight to the clients and communities the agency serves.
